The Weekly Premier League Review: Matchday 19

The second half of the Premier League match day 19 will be played on Thursday and Friday night respectively as we see the last five matches he’s distributed among those days. Manchester City who have played a match less the the top 6 will be playing on Thursday while league leaders Arsenal will be playing the final match of the match day 19 on Friday against West Ham at home.

Thursday  

Brentford vs Wolves

Match facts: Brentford need to have a proven striker for themselves in the winter transfer window for sure as we see Ivan Toney suspended with their inform striker Bryan Mbuemo sidelined for a long time due to injury which makes them count only on Yoanne Wissa for goals. Wolves on the other hand have had peculiar game days with them winning against big fishes in the pond and losing against the small ones which makes us wonder if they’ll lose against the Bees or if will they turn the fate around.  

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace

When comparing the last five matches they have played in the Premier League Chelsea has earned just 6 points out of a possible 15 while the Eagles have turned even lesser with just 3 points in their last 15. Both the clubs are running with a bad run of form as Chelsea considering a part of the big six will consider it big time to start improving or they’ll again miss out on Europe.

Everton vs Manchester City

It’d be a mouth-watering match to witness on Thursday with a nail-biting finish certainly an outcome at the end.

Brighton vs Tottenham

Match facts: Tottenham will visit Brighton in their Premier League Matchday 19 to boost their form even more after recovering from a dip in form between match days 11 to 16. Brighton on the other hand themselves have been suffering with a bad run of form and they’ll be hoping to take the home advantage in defeating a team that was on top of the league for the first ten matches.  

Arsenal vs West Ham

Match facts: Arsenal were really strong against second in the League Liverpool in their last match. Playing away from home they scored the fastest-ever goal at Anfield when Gabriel Magalhaes gave the Gunners the lead which was cancelled out by a sublime goal from the Anfield goal machine Mohamed Salah. They’ll be playing against a West Ham side who have been doing well in the Premier League with them in sixth place in the Premier League standings. Arsenal will be hoping to extend their lead over the top with a win at home to enter the new year as the leaders.
